Job description
Responsibility for making sure that all the company’s products meet the quality standards by testing, documenting, troubleshoot and preparing our products for launch. separate out any products that fail inspection and make recommendations on how to improve the production process in order to reduce the product inspection failure rate.
Areas of Responsibility –
- Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
- Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
- Process control of mechanical production and assembly
- Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
- Report problems or concerns to senior management and other interfaces (R&D and operation)
- Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines
- Continuous working with suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements –
- Education of mechanical engineering / technician – compulsory
- Previous experience in quality control position – at least two years
- Experience in managing and supervising subcontractors – an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP system – Priority – Advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office applications – mandatory
- English proficiency – a must
